IC23 was a special year for RLA. We got the opportunity to spend time with so many of our new partners. These meetings, the time spent, and knowledge gained solidified our place as the rep for all of our new lines.

RLA is on solid ground with representation of lines in AV and control, loudspeakers, amplifiers, wireless microphones and IEM, wireless intercom, production video, cabling, plates, panels, and acoustic treatment. Everyday we work to serve the dealers whose businesses continue to grow with the support of our manufacturer partners.

Bob, Sandy, Chris and Nick want to thank all the dealers, manufacturers and other contributing industry professionals for making this year such a success.

Speaking of new lines…

Since November, RLA added SIX new lines to our line card - Aurora Multimedia, Link USA, Vari-lite, Lectrosonics, Adamson and DAS Audio. Five out of six of these manufacturers exhibited at the show (we will see Vari-Lite at LDI this Fall!). Some had a lot of new products, and some continued to educate and bring awareness to existing line-ups that continue to serve customers everywhere.

Aurora Multimedia

18 New products. You heard that correctly. Paul Harris and company released 18 new products this year. This includes a less expensive “LT” version of their VPX 1G AVoverIP as well as a Wall Plate Encoder/Decoder. It also includes a 4” table top touch panel with a Dante beamforming microphone! This is only the beginning….

Pliant continues to innovate in the wireless intercomm space. Their line up is a true good, better, best offering. This year, they released a new product in the MicroCom XR Series. We’ll let Gary Rosen tell you about it below.

Lectrosonics

Another new line to RLA - Lectro is know for solid, reliable, long-life wireless products. For our friends in the live production and installation markets, learn about the DSQD Four-Channel Wireless Microphone System and the M2 Duet Wireless IEM products below.

DAS Audio

DAS is a fantastic group of people that are very passionate about their products and customer service. This is the latest addition to the RLA family, meaning every product was new to us!

The biggest takeaway from DAS is the line’s width - they carry 3 different line array series, multiple powered lines, a lot of weather proof options, an incredible installed column series, amps and DSP.

This year, DAS was very focused on the release of the sub-compact model in their flagship line array series - ARA. Learn about the 8” form factor, SARA, below.

Perdue Acoustics

Perdue had lots of samples on hand as well as their famous balloon test kits for measuring room RT60 times. If you have never received a proposal from Perdue for a project, we must say - it is very impressive. We encourage you to offer acoustic treatment to your customers when designing sound systems. Perdue will build a design based on site photos, drawings, measurements and audio recordings!

RCI Custom

Bringing the best customer service in the AV metals business - RCI is ready for your needs with plates, panels, mounts, rack accessories and much more. Their Panel Design software - Panel Builder - is unmatched. Their team is drive and focused.

Link USA

Cabling, distros, and so much more. Link is a truly innovative manufacture in the multi core space. They are super fun people too! Learn a little bit about just one of their versatile solutions below.

Adamson Systems

Finally - one of the most impressive and jawdropping experiences of this trade was the demo experience of Adamson IS10P and IS7P deployed with the Flecher machine, creating an incredibly unique immersive sound experience. Immersive audio is an emerging space that has tons of creative potential. Adamson also released new software - Array Intelligence, this platform integrates design and operation for all of it’s system platforms.
